El Estimulador es parte del proyecto de investigación Las Máquinas No Sienten Dolor, que explora el cuerpo como una máquina, una forma de estar en el mundo donde no hay lugar ni tiempo para el dolor, donde todo tiene un propósito y un significado. La publicidad, siempre fiel al capitalismo, se nutre de aspiraciones, incluso cuando se trata de enfermedad. Vende una idea, una imagen de bienestar, y esa imagen se convierte en la medida de nuestro valor, incluso cuando sufrimos. A través de imágenes, palabras y promesas vacías, el consumismo se mantiene en movimiento, y nuestra salud se convierte en un producto más para alimentarlo. ¿Cómo encontramos nuevas maneras de relacionarnos con el dolor? ¿Qué sucede si, en lugar de huir de él, permitimos que se acerque más a nosotros? 

The Stimulator is part of the research project Machines Don't Feel Pain, which explores the body as a machine, a way of being in the world where there is no place or time for pain, where everything has a purpose and a meaning. Advertising, always faithful to capitalism, thrives on aspirations, even when it comes to illness. It sells an idea, an image of well-being, and that image becomes the measure of our worth, even when we suffer. Through images, words, and empty promises, consumerism keeps moving, and our health becomes just another product to feed it. How do we find new ways of relating to pain? What happens if, instead of running away from it, we allow it to come closer to us?
