The model shows a gentleman and a pretty lady dressed in period costume. We imagine that they have been either out harvesting or gathering firewood for kindling. The lady carries a bundle of reeds or corn on her head, she wears a wonderful green sash. Tthe gentleman appears to be holding a jug.

As in most ceramic vintage pieces the glaze had worn a little thin in a few areas, taking nothing away from the charm of this wonderful piece.
