Rare early Boz Scaggs recordings have been newly digitally remastered and released in Japan on imported vinyl with Japanese obi and bilingual booklet! This album is the opening night of the concert held on June 30 during "The Closing Week of the Fillmore West," the closing week of San Francisco's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was held when the Fillmore West closed in 1971. The concert featured not only early classics such as "Sweet Release" and "I'm Easy" from "Boz Scaggs & Duane Allman" released in 1969, "Lover's Comrade" and "Kimi no Soba" from "Moments" released in 1970, but also the Steve Miller Band's classic "Steppin' Stone" and "Elvis Presley's" from "The Fillmore West" released in 1971. The album also features the Steve Miller Band's classic "Steppin' Stone" and a jam session with special guests Elvin Bishop and Taj Mahal.
