Pollini Conservatory in Padua, he also specialized in baroque cello and viola da gamba, and as a founding member of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, he has participated in many performances and recordings with Giuliano Carmignola and others, Francesco Galligioni, a founding member of the Venice Baroque Orchestra, has performed and recorded many of Bach's viola da gamba sonatas with Giuliano Carmignola and others.
