Authentic 1950s Allan Gould Designs Ottoman

Designed during the 1950s by American artist and designer Allan Gould, this ottoman reflects the sculptural modernism that defined much of Allan Gould’s outdoor furniture work. After founding Allan Gould Designs, Inc. in New York City, Gould became recognized for combining steel frame construction with woven cord seating that balanced artistic form with practical outdoor functionality.

This ottoman features a sculptural steel frame paired with woven vinyl cording, preserving the clean geometric character associated with Gould’s mid-century designs. The frame remains structurally sound and is offered through CFR Patio’s factory as a custom restoration opportunity. Professional powder coat refinishing and new vinyl cording replacement are available in your selected colors to restore both appearance and long-term outdoor durability.
