Staplegrip Stainless Steel Staples 62S is a box of 990 stainless steel staples for installing Traditional Staplegrip lacing strips on belts 1/16 to 1/8 inch thick. For the 62-size Staplegrip system.
What is in the package:
What these are: Staples for hammer-driving Traditional Staplegrip lacing strips. Different from Preset Staplegrip (which has staples pre-loaded into the fastener strip), Traditional Staplegrip requires loose staples driven through the strip and belt at installation.
Why stainless steel: Stainless staples resist corrosion in wash-down, food, and chemical environments. The staple stays sharp through extended belt operation and resists rust that would weaken the splice over time. Used with stainless or galvanized 62 Traditional Staplegrip strips.
How they install: Each staple is pre-positioned in the Traditional Staplegrip lacing slots, then driven 90 degrees to the belt pull direction with the EasyFix hammer driver tool. The 90-degree clinch direction makes it virtually impossible for the staple to open under load.
Pack: 990 staples per box. One box typically supports 5 to 10 splices depending on belt width.
