The king of gore metal, the latest release! The Japanese version of the album includes a bonus track that has never been released on CD before in the world! Known as the pioneers of gore metal that moved away from death metal and into a more brutal direction, the band was formed in 1990 by then 15-year-old Matt Harvey, who was heavily influenced by CARCASS and REPULSION in his search for a sound of his own. The band blended death metal and grind in an exquisite manner, while producing a very catchy metal style with an authentic song structure of verse-chorus-verse, strong and sharp riffs, and technical guitar solos. Since its formation, the band has released a large number of demos and split albums, and since its first full-length album in 1998, it has released eight albums, with a period of inactivity in between. Their latest album, their first in three years, was described by band leader Matt Harvey as "EXHUMED's final achievement. The result is a polished riffs and a summary of the band's career to date, and it far surpasses expectations.The entire "Worming" EP, released prior to this album on vinyl and distribution only, and a completely new song that was included in a sonosheet accompanying the US metal magazine "Decibel", are both highly rare songs, and none of them will be released on CD for the first time in the world!
