We know it's expensive and while there are more sensible ways to spend sixty pounds we would struggle to think of a more enjoyable one. This wine pours with a hint of gold that suggests a well judged use of oak and the aromas are heady with tropical stone fruit and jasmine and acacia flowers on the tongue the wine is rich and complex but in balance and the crisp apple note leaves the palate clean and refreshed. The reputation of Paul Hobbs for finding the best sites to plant his vines is well earned and this wine showcases some wonderful fruit brilliantly. Do you really need another pair of shoes... thought not
