A limited-edition candle created in collaboration between perfumer Lyn Harris and painter Will Calver to celebrate this holiday season. Inspired by the Dutch Masters of the 17th century, the pair worked side by side to distil painted idylls into scent — each one a doorway into their shared world, where still life is reimagined in olfactory form.

Here the iconic utility candle is adorned with a golden leaf, echoing Will Calver's SMOKE IN WOODS painting.

In SMOKE IN WOODS, the warmth of a distant fire rises through green leaf, myrrh and wet patchouli, grounded by oak, cedar wood, birch tar and cade. Dark yet ethereal, the smouldering mystery of hidden embers is revealed — an intoxicating lightness that lingers.

For the best performance, burn the candle for 3 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed regularly to approx 5mm.
