Description:
A collection of master Anton Nanut's first-ever master performances! In September 2012, Nanut celebrated his 80th birthday with a concert. This studio session recording was made immediately after the concert. The "Pathetique" symphony, which was also performed at the concert, is truly a masterpiece of Nanut's lifetime. It is full of exuberance as if it were a live recording. The first movement is over 20 minutes long. It is slow to the max. Here, Nanut shows enough emotional involvement. The nervous tension in the low strings at the beginning of the movement, but the sense of desperation in the air, is amazing. The violins are as earnest as if they were human voices. Japanese and English commentary included.
