Modern Performance continues to innovate, with the first High Flow, drop in air filter for the new Hornet! This drop in air filter fits inside your factory airbox perfectly and will increase your 2.0 Liter Turbo Hornet/Compass's performance and gas mileage!

We chose to work with Green because they use a method of making filters that has more filter media exposed and less rubber framing bleeding into the media. If you look at other high performance air filters that are made, you'll notice that the rubber outer section is much thicker on other brands, which reduces the air flow through the filter. Check out our photos of the filter on this page and you'll see that the filter media goes all the way to the edge of the filter compared to other brand of high flow air filters.

The factory air filter is a fairly restrictive design, with two separate thick gauge like materials. The Green filter has a pleated design which means there is a larger surface area than the factory filter for better flow, which means you get better throttle response, more horsepower/performance and better gas mileage.
