At 39.5mm this model is absolutely an option for men who just don’t like bigger cases or love the Planet Ocean but have a smaller wrist. Being only 14mm thick this also makes it a more wearable piece.
Like all true dive watches, time must be legible at a glance and in low light conditions. For this watch that is no issue and the indices on the dial are raised and highly polished which adds to its elegant design. The watch is water resistant to 600 metres / 2000 feet / 60 bar, and has a helium-escape valve. So no problem taking it for a dive.
The movement is the in-house Calibre Omega 8800. which has a gauss rating up to 15,000 and can maintain normal accuracy during those intense conditions of magnetism. This movement has a power reserve up to 55 hours. and is accurate 0/+5 seconds per day. this movement can be seen through the sapphire case back
The bracelet, integrates into the case in a way that allows the watch to fit well on the wrist rather than falling past the lugs. The first centre link on either lug is shorter, which allows for a better fit as well and the improved clasp allows adjustment to five positions up to 9.6mm in length
