The Vaso Verde Con Cerchi Su Banda Nera is a hand-thrown ceramic vase originally designed by Aldo Londi in the early 1960s. Its form is simple and cylindrical, finished in a glossy olive green glaze with irregular coloured circles, yellow, green, and black, painted by hand across a central black band. This bold decorative motif is typical of Londi’s mid-century work, which often combined geometric abstraction with vibrant colour. The piece reflects the playful yet structured aesthetic that defined Bitossi’s output during Londi’s tenure as artistic director.

This edition is part of the Riedizioni collection, reissued in 2017 as a limited run of 199 pieces. Each vase is crafted in red clay by Bitossi’s artisans in Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy, and bears the original inventory number along with the historic “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli” mark at the base.
