Long a perspective I have considered, this is my favorite piece from this collection of pieces focusing on the Breakers. So many more were planned, but this one is the one that came into being. At twilight, tilting up your head to see the parapet.
If you'll notice, this is the wrong flag, but such is the nature of artistic license.
A perpetual muse, a perpetual sense of wonder for me and my paint brushes: Palm Beach. Each time I visit this island I wonder if its magic will ever wear off on me. It doesn’t. It’s every bit as dazzling as it ever has been. With each iteration of Palm Beach, my perspectives develop, deepen. Each time I arrive in Palm Beach, I turn a corner and see a composition I haven't captured and it drives me to my palette. Some scenes I've painted several times, others are new endeavors – but each is special and delightfully Palm Beach.
ORIGINAL ARTWORK:
Each original painting has been painted on 140 lb French watercolor paper with a variety of high quality pigments that show off the brilliant color of each location. The paper and the pigment come together to give a truly unique artwork. There is only one of each.
