Pink Floyd, one of the top bands not only in the progressive rock scene but also in the British rock scene, released their debut album in 1967 and since then has continued to create one-of-a-kind albums with original sound ideas and concepts. The band influenced many rock bands, and their 1973 release "Madness" was a worldwide hit, spending 741 weeks on the U.S. album charts and selling over 50 million copies. Despite the pressure of the mega-hit album "Madness," the band released the album "Wish You Were Here" in 1975, which reached No. 1 on the album charts in both the U.S. and U.K. (No. 4 in Japan as well). In 1977, the concept album "Animals" was released, with Roger Waters taking the initiative.Starting with a January 23 show in Dortmund, Germany, and ending with a June 6 show in Montreal, Canada, the band will perform a total of 55 shows on its "In The Flesh Tour. The May 9 show in Oakland, California will be recorded and broadcast for a special program on KFOG-FM, a San Francisco FM radio station specializing in rock music. The set list for that day consists of 13 songs including encores, including "Flames - I Wish You Were Here" and "Animals," and is a long-awaited release for fans, as live archives from this period have never been released on CD. The second encore song, "Eugene, Beware the Axe," has not been performed live since 1974, so this is a very rare archive of this period!
