Dear Semi,
The kafeneio (coffee house) is where it’s at. It’s not just about the kafedaki (coffee), it’s about the company and conversations. The kafeneio goes generations back, and it’s the heart of the village.

Being there, you can feel the ancestors who sat there before us, doing the same thing: catching up, talking politics, playing cards or board games, gossiping, listening to live music, etc.

Sometimes (often) we stay up all night to watch the sun rise, because we either don’t want the night to end, &/or time flies when we love each other.
