[Mitsuko Uchida's recordings of Mozart's complete piano concertos began in 1985 with the support of the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Tate, whom she describes as "an orchestra that encourages me to express myself. The recording includes No. 25, which has a magnificent scale, and No. 27, whose subtle tonal changes speak to the spirit of Mozart's later years. Uchida's performance was full of emotion and spark, and he fully expressed the qualities of each work. Rubidium clock cutting.
