This Horned Dorset wool was grown here in by Silver Creek Lambscapes. This breed of sheep is on the Livestock Conservancy list of threatened sheep breeds. It is a lovely natural white. Dorset Horned is a down breed and this fiber is a wonderful example. Lots of squish to it that will be a joy to spin and will have the most incredible bloom after spinning and soaking. It does not felt easily making it a great wool for socks or other high friction wear. Suitable for next to skin wear if you are not super sensitive to itch.
