The 12yo has been made using a mix of bourbon and sherry casks and some of those have been though their smallest still called "Wee Witchie". It has to be said the Scots are sometimes a superstitious bunch.

Mortlach is in heart of Speyside. A favourite big body whisky much loved by blenders. For a long time it was usually only in blends with single malt bottlings coming from IBs but they have now started bottling direct from the distillery.
