A magnificent quarter-century-old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, one of Scotland's most underrated distilleries. The distillery was founded in 1825, by the gloriously named 'Long John' MacDonald. Sitting at the base of Scotland's highest mountain, Ben Nevis draws its water from the Allt a'Mhuilinn. The rum cask maturation has brought tropical notes of estery fruit alongside the vibrant barley at its core, with a total of just 301 bottles released.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Barley water, ripe fruit funk, and yeasty bread dough.
• Palate: Apples and pears joined by tropical tangy pineapple, creamy lemon curd, and Madeira cake. Soft, creamy, sweet, and balanced.
• Finish: Long and gently fruity, with a soft tropical echo and warming oak.
