This kit can also be used to replace a worn out stock open differential. You have two available options depending on your needs, the standard duty (SD) or heavy duty (HD) install kit. The HD kit upgrades the differential bearings to an all steel construction bearing (stock has a plastic roller cage) with larger diameter roller bearings, and slightly longer 5/8 12pt ARP Pro Series differential bolts to engage more ring gear threads.

Please note: This kit does not come with shims. All differential installers must check for proper bearing preload. We recommend a professional shop to do the install as they have a large assortment of shims to do the job properly. We will have shims available shortly for the DIY'er.
