After a full day exploring the remarkable canyons of Karijini National Park, the sun began to get lower in the sky and without any distinct geographic features to photograph I began searching for a potential composition. Beginning to get frustrated that I couldn't find anything interesting, I began to give up hope that I wouldn't be able to capture anything of note. However, as fate would have it I looked up to see the light catching this gnarled old ghost gum and thought that it would make for an interesting image.
