DESCRIPTION

The Virnig V40 Skeleton Rock Grapple is purpose-built for contractors, landscapers, farmers, and land-management professionals who need to pick, sort, and haul rocks while leaving unwanted dirt behind. Designed for smaller to mid-size skid steers and track loaders, this grapple delivers powerful grabbing force, exceptional durability, and impressive clean-out efficiency.

Every other tine is formed from a single piece of high-strength Grade 50 steel, ensuring unmatched rigidity during heavy digging and prying. The tight 2.9" tine spacing efficiently captures rocks and debris while filtering soil for faster cleanup and reduced material waste. A built-in rock dam, paired with engineered notches near the tine tips, stabilizes rocks and prevents material rollback ideal for uneven terrain or steep approaches.

Premium NitroSteel® cylinder rods and Teflon®-coated bushings offer long-lasting protection against corrosion, dirt, and wear, giving operators a smoother, more predictable grip in demanding jobsite conditions.

Available in 66", 72", and 84" widths, the V40 Skeleton Rock Grapple is the perfect match for skid steers with a loader capacity under 2,400 lbs and typically requires 16–25 GPM hydraulic flow, depending on the machine. (Most skid steers under 2,400 lbs operating capacity fall in the 45–70 HP engine range ideal for this attachment.)

Note: The V40 BSRGV has a known fit-up clearance issue with John Deere® 330G, 331G, 332G, and 333G models.
