Airtec Seat Leon Cupra FR280 Uprated FMIC Front Mount Intercooler Upgrade

AIRTEC are proud to introduce the front mount intercooler upgrade for the SEAT Leon Cupra FR280.

Designed to fit all models, this freer-flowing intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM set up.

Featuring a 60mm core design together with high-flow cast end tanks and lower alloy scoop to force air directly to the core, the AIRTEC intercooler offers much greater surface area, efficiency and volume over standard. Despite this improvement, it fits neatly behind the original bumper, requires no trimming or cutting and can be used with the original hoses.

TESTED!

As with all AIRTEC products, the intercooler was tested back-to-back on the dyno aginist the OEM item. This showed a huge reduction in air charge temperatures over standard, as seen below:

Standard Intercooler:

Run 1 - Into intercooler: 136 degrees - Out of intercooler: 42 degrees

Run 2 - Into intercooler: 137 degrees - Out of intercooler: 44 degrees

Run 3 - Into intercooler: 137 degrees - Out of intercooler: 44 degrees

AIRTEC Intercooler:

Run 1 - Into intercooler: 132 degrees - Out of intercooler: 14 degrees

Run 2 - Into intercooler: 132 degrees - Out of intercooler: 12 degrees

Run 3 - Into intercooler: 132 degrees - Out of intercooler: 12 degrees

The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures and should take around 3-4 hours to complete.

The intercooler is available in a choice of of either Natural Silver or Pro-Series Black finishes, with or without the AIRTEC logo.
