Late Production Hummel - Tamiya 1/35 Model Overview

The Tamiya 1/35 Sd.Kfz.165 Hummel represents the German self-propelled gun used as mobile artillery support in WWII. Equipped with a 15cm L/30 howitzer in an exposed fighting compartment, the vehicle saw service from 1943 across the Eastern Front and later in western campaigns and Italy.

Called the "bumblebee" in German, the Hummel used the Geschutzwagen III/IV chassis also used by platforms such as the Nashorn.
