HOW TO USE:
Ensure that the Guttmann Vaginal Speculum is clean and sterilized before use. Apply a small amount of water-based lubricating gel to the blades of the Miller speculum to facilitate insertion. Gently insert the speculum into the vaginal canal with the blades closed. Insert it in the direction of the patient's lower back. Slowly open the blades by using the mechanism on the speculum until you have a clear view of the cervix and vaginal walls. Be cautious not to cause any discomfort or injury to the patient. Once you visualize the vaginal canal, you can conduct the necessary examination, which may include performing a Pap smear, conducting a cervical biopsy, or simply conducting a visual inspection.
