The Wenlock mattress is part of the Artisan range made by The Shire Bed Company, a UK Yorkshire based manufacturer and renowned member of the National Bed Federation and British Furniture Manufacturers Association, recognised for outstanding product quality and service.

The mattress is 28cm thick and features a supportive 1,000 pocket spring unit, designed to conform to the body and provide support for pressure points encouraging correct spinal alignment while you sleep. The pocket springs are encapsulated within a foam edge interior, adding strength and support to the sides to prevent roll off.

Natural fillings including Latex, Cotton, Wool, Silk and Cashmere create a fresh, breathable and temperature regulating sleeping surface with a medium comfort support. Their natural and antimicrobial properties also make the mattress a perfect solution for allergy sufferers.

Finished in luxurious Tencel soft touch stretch fabric with a micro quilted finish, a hand stitched border to add strength increasing life span, flag stitched handles for easy rotating and air vents to allow airflow through the mattress preventing the build up of moisture.
