Barbra performs a medley of two of her many covers, John Lennon's "Imagine" and Louis Armstrong's "It's a Wonderful World," and she also takes on such classics as the Bacharach/David pop standard "The World Needs Love" and gives it a new interpretation. The album also features Bacharach/David's pop standard "The World Needs Love," which is interpreted in a new way.The second song from the end, "Take Care of This House," was co-written by the great composer Leonard Bernstein and lyricist Alan Jay Lerner.
