[SYD BARRETT PAPERSLEEVE COLLECTION(2)] This is his second solo album, released only 10 months after his debut, but ultimately his last original album. The album was produced by David Gilmour and Richard Wright of Pink Floyd, and backed by Jerry Shirley and Willie Wilson, who also participated in the previous album along with the two, and tube player Vic Saywell. The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The keyboard tone by Wright softens the overall tension of the song, and it is a gem of British acid folk with a glimpse of the pastoral and softened side of the song, as if it were a bewitching look into the depths of his mind. The album includes "Baby Lemonade," "Aunt Gigolo," and "Excited Elephant," which was performed on a BBC radio show before its release. While the artwork was again done by the Hypnosis team, the front cover features a drawing of insects by the artist himself. Includes commentary, lyrics, and bilingual translation. Paper jacket.
