Tinker Turtle brand 3D-printed scleral lens products are brilliant! I've been really looking forward to stocking these. It's so fun to see things specifically designed for scleral lens users, and as an added bonus, these are made by Alec who is relatively local to us (Puget Sound area).

The Everyday Carrying Case is an excellent emergency kit for lens removal or a quick remove-rinse-reinsert on the go. It's designed specifically for our most common items - insertion and removal plungers, a lens case, and individual saline vials. It will fit two each of either Nutrifill or Scleralfil (including the new oval-shaped Scleralfil). If you are using smaller vials you can probably fit more.

Two fun extra features are a little mirror in the lid, and also an insertion plunger-sized hole that will allow you to use the case itself as an insertion stand on the go. All very well thought out.

This is not a pocket-sized item unless we're talking about a roomy coat pocket. But it's small enough to not take up too much space, and noticeable enough not to lose easily.
Two important cautions:

1. Never store your scleral lenses in preservative-free saline! This case does not include space for any solution suitable for lens storage. If you have to remove a lens in an emergency and leave it in the case, make sure to run it through a disinfection cycle with an approved solution before the next time you use it.
2. Do not leave this case in your car, tempting though that may be. Cars are subject to temperature extremes that may make the saline unusable for re-insertion. Also, the plastic of the carrying case can start deforming slightly (scroll down for details).

Temperature

Please note that in extremely high temperatures (such as leaving the case in a car in direct sun / ~140F or higher) the plastic can start deforming slightly.

Saline compatiibility

Compatible with Scleralfil, Lacripure, Nutrifill, and Addipak / Vibrant Vue.
NOT compatible with Reclens!

Outer sizing:

3.75" high, 5" long, 1.25" deep

Inner lens case sizing:
The maximum lens case size is 17mm x 35mm x 72mm.

Saline sizing:

The taller Addipak style cases can fit four Addipak/Vibrant vue style saline (saline slot dimensions of 24.5mm x 27mm x 92mm)

The Addipak style cases will also fit Scleralfil or Lacripure

The shorter Nutrifill style cases can fit one Nutrifill vial or one Lacripure vial.
