This is the long-awaited remastered album of the original "Back to the Light - Towards the Light" album. The album was newly remastered from the original master tapes by Bob Ludwick and supervised by Brian May himself. Back to the Light" is Brian May's first solo album, which reached the top 10 in the UK charts when it was released in 1992. While Brian played most of the instruments on the album, guests included Cozy Powell, Deep Purple's Don Airey, and Queen's John Deacon. In addition to the hit singles "Driven By You" and "The Consequences of Love," the album includes "Brilliant Resurrection" and "Beyond the Horizon," an instrumental that has become a staple of Queen's live show. This timely reissue will be released on various formats under the supervision of Brian May, with sound supervision by Brian himself and co-producer Justin Shirley-Smith, and new artwork by longtime Queen designer Richard Gray. Richard Gray, longtime Queen designer, is in charge of new artwork.It has been remastered by Bob Ludwick. This deluxe edition CD comes in a 6-sided digipak and includes a 24-page booklet with rare photos and album commentary. CD2, "Out of the Light," includes another version, a B-side song, and a live track. Miniature pamphlet (20 pages) from Brian's 1993 solo show in Japan (*All miniatures are in English, the same as the 1993 show).
