Designed by Poul Kjaerholm, the PK24 lounge chair is created with independent elements which are kept together through gravity and friction between the elements. Such a unique design also features soft curves and an organic shape making this chair a stand out piece. Inspired by the Rococo period and the French chaise longue it features the same unique curves and size in design. Combining steel with wicker or leather creates a flawless, harmonising display between two contrasting materials which is an attribute recognisable in some of Kjaerholm's other pieces. Included is a comfortable headrest in leather which is counter-weighted with stainless steel.
