[DISCO FEVER 40" 1st release(31)] "DISCO FEVER 40" campaign commemorates the 40th anniversary of the movie "Saturday Night Fever" in Japan. For the first release, 50 albums from the 70's and early 80's will be reissued all at once! The Miracles, led by Smokey Robinson, became the first group to be signed by Motown in 1959, and in 1972, S. Robinson left the group, but Billy Griffin replaced him, and "Love Machine" became the No. 1 hit in the U.S. Mean Machine" was cut as a single from this album. Guests on the album include Stevie Wonder, a label mate from the Motown era, and a young David Foster, who was a flying star. The Miracles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
