The dry kiln system consists of a very efficient 70kW multi fuel space heater blowing hot or cold air. Ideal set up for use in a 40 foot container converted into a kiln. For drying and seasoning fire wood or wood for use in building and furniture making.

Kit runs off of 13A supply, total consumption of the set up is min 60W max 420W and can be run in remote locations using solar power supply system.

Brief points to note regarding the DABi space heater:

• Large fire box can take up to 20 inch or 0.5 meter long logs. 

• Simple to use and maintain.

• No plumbing needed.

• Connect flue, ducting and into 13A socket, ready to produce heat.

• Ability to burn wide range of fuels

• Comes equipped with secondary air supply.

The container kiln wood seasoning and drying kit, gives a user long refill times, plenty of heat and strong air movement, key hallmarks of a system that will see logs drying time reduced to around 2-3 days.

Expect to refill the DABi space heater 4-5 times on day one, then 3 to 4 times per day in the 2 days that follow. Expectations are based on feedback from customers as well as container being well insulated with moisture extraction system.

A heat recovery recuperation system can also be installed to increase efficiency further.
