Before Ordering This key, Please make sure that the vehicle has been boosted to XL8 (433 MHz) system and is not using the 344 MHz system.

1- Remove the trunk floor trim panel and locate the SPID label.

2- Locate RPO - XL7 OR XL8 on the label. Dealers must write XL8 over XL7 If they did the repair.

3- This key will only work on XL8. If you need the 315 MHz version, it is RFK-GM-LXP

4- Reinstall the trunk floor trim panel.
