Gary Moore
Description:
In 1982, Gary Moore was signed by Virgin Records and released "Corridors Of Power" in September of the same year. The album reached No. 30 on the U.K. album chart, and in November, Gary launched the "Corridors Of Power Tour" to promote the album. During the tour, the London concert on March 16, 1983 was recorded and broadcast for BBC Radio's popular music program "In Concert". This time, the audio sub-master used for the broadcast has been remastered for release. The set list of the concert, performed by recording members Neil Murray & Ian Paice and Colosseum II colleague Don Airey, includes an encore of nine songs, and this album contains seven of the songs used in the broadcast. With the departure of John Sloman, formerly of Lone Star - Uriah Heep - UFO, who joined the band when it came to Japan, Gary himself took over lead vocals. The live performance, in which Gary shows off plenty of passionate guitar playing to establish himself as a legitimate hard rock guitarist, is superb! Included as bonus tracks are five additional songs from a live performance at a German rock festival during John Sloman's tenure.
