The Firewire Dominator 2 Helium Surfboard 6'2 37.8L is Dan Mann's refined evolution of the original Dominator — one of Firewire's best-loved designs updated with a squash tail, slightly more performance-oriented rails, and a refined concave that makes it work better across a wider range of conditions.

Board Features: The clearest upgrade from the Dominator 1.0 is the tail — going from a round tail to a squash tail adds a touch of release through turns that the round tail didn't have. The rails are slightly more refined and performance-oriented. The concave is the same single under the front foot, splitting into a subtle double-barrel concave that runs into a V out the tail in the last 5" — building drive on the front foot and releasing the tail cleanly for snaps and carves. The squash tail delivers the smoothness of a round tail in transitions with a bit more edge on the exit.

Helium Core: Stringerless EPS core with flex controlled at the rails by Paulownia and Balsa wood — lightweight, lively underfoot, and excellent at generating speed in everyday waves.
