Pair of polished black obsidian points with natural forming indentions. The top of each point has been cut and polished while the remaining body of the obsidian has been left in its organic form.

Similar to the obsidian historically used by indigenous groups throughout Mexico and Mesoamerica for decorative, spiritual, and practical purposes. 

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. It is an igneous rock. Obsidian is produced from felsic lava, rich in the lighter elements such as silicon, oxygen, aluminum, sodium, and potassium.
