Please note: We frequently have customers contact us saying the locking gas cap is not working correctly when they receive them. The locking gas cap does not work properly until it has tension from being torqued into place on the filler neck. You cannot make this work correctly in your hands. To make this work properly, you must turn the gas cap clockwise in the filler neck about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Then remove the key, and then turn until you hear 3-5 clicks. It is then torqued correctly and cannot be removed until the key is inserted again.
