Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Description:
Formed by Keith Emerson (ex-Nice), Greg Lake (ex-King Crimson), and Carl Palmer (ex-Atomic Rooster), the super band Emerson Lake & Palmer pursued progressive rock in the style of a keyboard trio and achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. The band achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. In March of the same year, they started a world tour, including Japan, prior to the release of their fourth album "Trilogy" in June 1972. In July, they will perform in Japan for the first time at Korakuen Stadium in Tokyo and Koshien Stadium in Osaka. The Tokyo concert was broadcast live on TV on the same day, but after the broadcast, the recorded material was put in storage. With the discovery of the master tapes from the broadcast, the best possible remastering has been done for this release. The set list of the day, consisting of the best tracks from the four albums that had been released, includes an encore and a total of seven songs, and although there were some problems during the recording process, this live album is a complete recording of the show and brings back the excitement of the day. Imported domestic version with bilingual booklet in English.
