Michael Schenker, the lone guitarist on the heavy metal/hard rock scene, made his debut at the age of 17 as the guitarist for the Scorpions, then joined UFO, contributing greatly to their worldwide success, but left the band in 1979 to form the eponymous Michael Schenker Group. In 1979, he formed his own eponymous group, the Michael Schenker Group. In 1980, he released the album "MSG" as his own band, and toured Japan and Europe to promote the new album and his newly formed band. In 1980, he released his own album "MSG". The only concert in Hamburg, Germany, on January 24 of the following year was recorded and broadcast as a special program on the German broadcaster WDR. This live album was recorded and broadcasted as a special program on WDR, and although a few songs were omitted from the program due to the time constraints, it includes the UFO songs and encores.Featuring the late drummer Kozy Powell, the Michael Schenker Group gives a full live performance that shows the determination of Michael, who started his own band after leaving UFO, and gives us great expectations for their future!
