Charles and Ray Eames designed La Chaise elegant lounger in 1948 for a competition at The Museum of Modern Art. It was inspired by Gaston Lachaise’s "Floating Figure." While La Chaise was designed over 70 years ago, it didn’t enter production by Vitra until 1991. This edition is stamped with a production year of 2012.
Good vintage condition with some scuffs and wear commensurate with age.
Oak base. Injection molded Polyurethane shell.
