Description:
With the release of their third album "Fear Of Music" produced by Brian Eno in 1979, the band made their first tour in Japan in July of the same year. This live album is a complete recording of the first day of the two-day show held at the Nippon Seinen Kaikan on July 19 and 20. The set list for that day consisted of 9 songs, and this album contains the complete concert. The songs are mainly from the second album "More Songs About Buildings and Food" and the third album "Fear Of Music", including a cover of Al Green's hit number "Take It", which made them famous. The performance was a masterpiece, featuring a cover of Al Green's hit number "Take Me To The River," which made their name known, as well as many other representative songs from their first album.Including this tour, Talking Heads toured Japan three times in 1979, 1981, and 1982, but this '79 tour is the only time the four original members can be seen performing together. Imported domestic edition with bilingual English commentary and obi.
