Platypus Buddy Kits are two fun full skeins of Platypus Sock, consisting of a Special Edition colourway with a main light under wash & four secondary colours for variegation, paired with a semisolid of one of the four colour variations. The two can play separately or together, but would be perfect for socks, mitts, or two-skein shawl projects. We chose Platypus Sock because it is both soft and durable, thanks to its 75/25 Superwash Merino/Nylon construction.

For socks, since there is a lot of yardage to play with, one could make a pair with the variegated skein being the main body with the semisolid for the heels & toe area, with enough left to do a second pair, but in the reverse sequence!
