The album also includes the Dan Penn & Don Nix classic "Like a Road," which has been played by Albert King and Jerry Garcia, among others, as well as a number of original gems. Born in Canada in 1967, Wolf Mael is an Australian guitarist who began playing guitar at age 14 and was influenced by Elmore James, Peter Green, etc. At age 17, he formed a band and became the opening act for Ted Nugent. In the 1990s, he embarked on his first world tour, which took him to the U.S., Australia, and Europe.In 2002, he released his first album, "Solid Ground", which was named the best album of the year in the blues category by Tower Records in the U.S. In 2005, he released "Blue Fix". In 2009, he made his first visit to Japan for the release of a live recording.
