The IC30 Mattress is a high-risk pressure care solution designed to deliver superior comfort, support, and safety. Engineered with gel-infused ActiveX™ foam and firm edge support, it offers enhanced stability during transfers and helps prevent roll-out, making it ideal for users with increased mobility or pressure injury concerns.

The gel infusion actively regulates body temperature to maintain a cool and comfortable sleep surface, while charcoal infusion helps absorb odors and moisture, promoting a fresher, more hygienic environment.

ActiveX™ foam responds to both heat and pressure, creating an optimal balance of immersion and envelopment. This results in a responsive surface that adapts to the body for exceptional pressure redistribution—providing a very high level of pressure care, especially for users at high risk of skin breakdown.

• Engineered for pressure redistribution with an average peak pressure below 24 mmHg

• Suitable for users with low to moderate pressure risk

• For higher-risk clients, iCare Zerotec covers are recommended for enhanced protection

ActiveX™ Material

ActiveX™ is a premium-grade elastic foam specifically designed for pressure redistribution. It is temperature-responsive, softening in areas of increased heat—such as around inflamed or high-pressure points. This adaptive behavior allows the material to reduce pressure by contouring to the body, promoting healthy blood circulation and enhancing overall comfort for users at risk of pressure injuries.

Care & Maintenance Instructions

Laundering the Cover

• Washing Machine: Set the main wash cycle to a minimum of 150°F (65°C) for no less than 10 minutes.

• Drying: Tumble dry on low heat, ensuring the temperature does not exceed 140°F (60°C).

Foam Care

• Autoclaving: The foam core can be autoclaved at 273°F (134°C) for disinfection.

Pressure Care Rating - High

This rating is based on our average peak pressure of <19mmHg. For clients identified as high risk, the use of Icare Zerotec covers is recommended for enhanced protection and support.
