Featuring a flowing, wavelike rim and a subtly textured platter, Tomoko Sakai’s Dot Cake Stand is meticulously hand-crafted and finished in her signature matte white glaze.

Tomoko Sakai’s Dot Cake Stand is made of clay the artist shapes by hand at her small studio in Miki, Japan. She then presses into a hand-made mold inscribed with a ring of small dots, creating the chain-like pattern along its face, before coating it in a matte white glaze and firing it in a wood-fired anagama kiln. Available in two sizes.
