1/200 USAAF Douglas C54M Skymaster 513th
Built in 1944, this C-54 was first used in the Pacific theater of World War II. It was modified accordingly for the air transport of coal to the western sectors of the city, access to which was blocked by the GDR by land. From January 1949 it was deployed from the Rhein-Main Air Base near Frankfurt to support the Berlin Airlift. Today, the C-54, serial number 44-9030, is part of the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, USA.
