Indications for Use

ViscoStat Clear is intended for:

• Sulcus retraction prior to impression taking
• Bleeding and gingival fluid control during cavity restorations, temporary or permanent restoration seating
• Operative and surgical dentistry procedures where hemostasis is needed around cervical or gingival margins

How to Use

1. Remove the cap from the IndiSpense syringe and attach a 1.2 ml delivery syringe (or use a Dento-Infusor tip directly if applicable).
2. Apply the gel directly onto the bleeding gingival sulcus or tissue to be managed.
3. For sulcus retraction: place retraction cord (e.g. Ultrapak™) into the gel-filled sulcus. Leave in place for approximately 4–5 minutes.
4. Remove cord, rinse thoroughly with air/water spray, dry, and if needed, apply gel again briefly for final hemostasis.
5. Proceed with impressions or restorative procedures once tissue is clean and dry.

This formulation is particularly well-suited for esthetic-zone cases where soft-tissue coloration and bonding integrity are critical. Its non-staining, residue-free properties help ensure a clean field and optimal restorative outcomes.
