Originating in Central and South America, Four O'Clocks are grown for their full bushy form and fragrant flowers. But setting them apart from other garden inhabitants is the ability for a single plant to not only produce clusters of blossoms with stripes and splotches, but also flowers of several distinct colors! Blooms open in late afternoon, hence their common name and stay open, exuding an orange-blossom fragrance, all night, making them ideal for encircling patios and porches. Tuberous roots can be overwintered indoors in colder climates.
